Haysi more or less spent their ace Ryan Jones to eke by Great City yesterday, so the Devils making a good game of it helps JJK in the fact that they won't have to face him. Viers is a good pitcher, but not close to being on Jones level. Wyrick's Injuns take this one.

here's the question about kelly. my concern is who are they willing to throw? castlewood lit up every pitcher kelly had last night except wilson. i don't think wilson can throw today. i still feel kelly wins this one but sturgill has to be solid. i'd like to say how nice castlewood's field and facilities are. those guys have done well hosting the tourney. their team played one heck of a game last night too. it's good to see someone out of the cumberland taking baseball seriously.

You know as well as I do, Castlewood is always tough. The Devils are a threat every year come post-season. Cumberland Distric or not. I expected a dogfight, and that's what we got.
